Moon IV

Moon IV is a small gilded painting in which the folded crane has lifted a tiny green parakeet feather into its beak. Against a luminous 13.6k white-gold leaf ground, the gesture feels light, alive and quietly assured, as though a fleeting encounter has been gently accepted and carried forward.

Part of the Golden Medallions series, this piece continues recent themes of identity, encounter and quiet transformation. Though small in scale, Moon II carries a refined and precious presence, with its subtle symbolism, careful composition and softly shifting light.

Painted in oil on a round bamboo panel of 10 cm diameter and set in a solid oak tray frame with a black-painted inner edge, the work has an outer frame size of 14 × 14 cm. Finished and ready to hang.
